Shamed ex-councillor Peter Allan quit this week after confessing to “visiting a strip club” and making ratepayers pay his bill. Today, it’s revealed that when Whitehorse council’s mayor he actually went to a brothel, paid for prostitutes and fraudulently claimed a reimbursement from the council. Amazing to consider a local news reporter Jon Ryan thinks the leaking of this scandal is a bigger issue than the original theft.
