AT LAST: Labor moderates completely cleared while Ombudsman under pressure to quit

A scathing Victorian Ombudsman’s report into the Brimbank council has been found to be baseless after an investigation into his recommendations by Local Government Victoria. All those damned by the Ombudsman have been cleared but he has many questions to answer. Reform of his now thoroughly discredited office is now a high priority. The most important change needs to be at the top, George Brouwer is clearly unfit for the high office he holds.
