Troubled Victorian Health minister David Davis is desperate to distract from the saga over his failure to pay his own legal bills after making a total debacle of attacking former ALP state secretary Stephen Newnham. But there’s not much he can say or do to undo the damage done to his own standing in the Liberal party or government.
