Afghan government frees rape victim jailed for adultery after she agrees to marry the rapist

The Afghan government that Australia and many other democracies have defended with blood and treasure allowed a victim of rape to be jailed for adultery for 12 years but has now pardoned her after she agreed to marry the man who raped her.
