It’s still hard to believe how the HSU went down. A multi-millionaire union boss denounced another multi-millionaire union boss for being a crook and was believed – by some for a while – to be some kind of crusading Joan of Arc figure. Now the authorities – state Police forces – are throroughly probing whether Kathy Jackson fleeced HSU members in amassing her fortune. The HSU members’ nightmare seems to be nearing its end but the trouble for its most brazen and hypocritical official seems to be just beginning.
