On Monday, The Age’s first edition was meant to have a headline about claims a senior and respected public servant had a fling with a Vietnamese spy who supposedly took $20M in bungs to agree to using Australia’s world-best currency technology.
Instead it read “Securancy headline goes over eight” (columns)… Oops. Is this the quality newspaper they pretend to be?
They are a joke, all these big salaries, low rent people at Fairfax.
I get The Age and The Australian home delivered and my Age this morning has the second or correct content.
On some days The Age resembles a pamphlet rather than a newspaper. Obviously the can’t sell the advertising.
First edition goes to country/interstate usually.
Is our fat friend Alexander ‘the not so great’ White working at the Age?
I don’t blame the masthead….i blame management. This is a fairly “secondary sub-editors” and outsource the production of your paper to….. any one.
Me minge worms are getting restless again
