Ted Baillieu failing to inspire Jeff Kennett

Victorian Liberal sources tell VEXNEWS it speaks volumes that former hardcore Victorian Liberal Premier Jeff Kennett regards Queensland LNP Premier Campbell Newman as a good government role model for presumed incoming PM Tony Abbott but is silent about his friend Ted Baillieu’s performance.

  1. Appointing ex-ALP staffer to head up Health Dept while shunning and isolating most Liberal Party members, retaining the left-wing Charter of Human Rights (for criminals), not breaking up picket lines in line with Supreme Court orders (Baiada Farms, Toll), massive pay rises for public servants with no tax cuts for business, new taxes on containers through the Port, a raid on employers’ WorkCover funds, hosting David Suzuki and encouraging him to propagandise to kids in your first act as Education Minister – what is there for a gung-ho ex-Liberal Premier not to like?

  2. In addition to the above, Ted caved in to Julia Gillard and allowed her to host the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) trial in Victoria in the Federal Electorate of Corangamite – Labor’s most marginal seat in Victoria. The NDIS trial could have been held anywhere in Victoria and the Barwon area where the NDIS trial will be held is not an area of high socio-economic disadvantage. Why was Ted stupid enough to allow Julia to host the NDIS trial in the Federal Labor marginal electorate of Corangamite?

  3. Is Jeff still beating up his wife outside his home in The Avenue Surrey Hills?
