Labor spends small fortune on making its IT system hack-proof after The Age hacking scandal #auspol

Daily Tele reports offline that the ALP is updating its voter database Electrac in light of The Age’s hacks hacking it for their own nefarious purpose. They have been investigated by the Victoria Police and are currently in the hands of federal prosecutors. Labor is spending hundreds of thousands of dollars, we hear, on upgrading the system, which will include a significant upgrade to security.
