87.5% of top stories on The Age’s website are written by AAP wire service #ausmedia

Former Age editor Andrew Jaspan’s The Conversation twists the knife on ailing Fairfax, revealing an academic study of 29,000 online articles that shows 87.5% of top stories on The Age’s website (79% with smh.com.au) are written by AAP while News Ltd uses AAP for 2% of breaking news stories online.

  1. Could that be because the Age takes the story as it comes and News modifies the story to fit to its editorial bias?
