BLOWING SMOKE: We reveal Greens candidate in Broadmeadows by-election

Greens party sources are saying that while the Baillieu government hasn’t set the date of the Broadmeadows by-election and the ALP is taking its time selecting a candidate that they have chosen a Graham Dawson to be their candidate although are waiting to announce him at the start of the campaign. Too late.

He calls himself “Smokey” Dawson while working in the same profession as Laura Bush as a Librarian.

Dawson is no genius, telling a local paper at the last state election:

I think it was in the ‘90s that Melbourne won an international award as the world’s most liveable city. It is hard to imagine us winning such an award now.

In 2010, Melbourne was third most liveable city in the world according to the Economist. Perhaps they don’t stock that in Smokey’s local library.

  1. Third isn’t winning, the most you could say is that third is the second best looser.

Honestly, if I wasn’t addicted to reading about little men who get their jollies through keyboard mast’bation, I’d stay home and cook dinner for the kiddies ….

  13. Warrandyte Ryan (26 Jan 11, 10:04) the libs do this too. A few Federal elections ago the Liberal candidate for Melbourne Ports, as I understand it, had to re-join the party, as his membership had lapsed a few years earlier, before his nomination could be advanced further. He is now the MP for Caulfield
