ELECTORAL APARTHEID: Greens-backed NSW donations law shuts out asylum-seekers from election process

SaudigreensWhile wacky Beijing-backed billionaires reckon the Greens are treacherous folk taking loot from foreign intelligence agencies to undermine our coal caper, VEXNEWS can reveal they have actually flicked the switch to a nasty form of xenophobia.

Recent laws slammed through the NSW Parliament – that many observers believe to be unconstitutional – have banned those not on the electoral roll from fully participating in New South Wales elections.

The effect of this is that asylum seekers and non-citizens will not be able to be involved in any election campaign for fear of running foul of the NSW laws.

96D“Unfortunately, asylum seekers will be excluded from supporting candidates even if they are wanting to stay in Australia and wish to participate in the democratic process because of the changed voted up by the NSW Greens,” one outraged senior political figure explained.

“It’s much more than the advertised ban on companies and foreigners from giving donations, it’s much broader than that. It’s quite disgraceful what the Greens have done here. It’s bigotry.”

“Let’s be clear, the law means asylum seekers won’t be able to form or be part of groups that advocate for their rights and their position in the community. If they do, they’d be breaking Barry O’Farrell and the Greens party’s disgusting new law.”

“It really is a form of electoral apartheid, and we shouldn’t be surprised it’s coming from the Greens, they are virulently opposed to immigration although had pretended to soften that in relation to asylum seekers, who have justly attracted to sympathy and concern of many Greens voters,” he continued.

96Da“They are as bigoted as the Klan, they just wear hipper clothes. In much of the Middle East, they have an electoral apartheid regime running too, where citizens can vote and fully participate but non-citizens like the soaring number of guest workers from the sub-continent get no rights. This is the path the bigoted Greens are going. It’s a sicko version of uber-nationalism.”

Under the new laws, even volunteering to hand-out How-To-Votes and printed materials, or engaging in any other campaign activity that could be quantified as a service could land non-citizens in serious legal trouble, and in the case of those pursuing permanent residency, could also jeopardise their application with Immigration authorities.

“When you talk about the mean Greens, you really are onto something,” he enthused.

Ironically, VEXNEWS has previously exposed one of the NSW Greens state MPs Jamie Parker, a dodgy vitamin peddler who once drove a Mercedes, as having broken similarly nationalistic laws in Canada that ban foreigners from any kind of involvement in their electoral process.

  1. Is this sign just outside Mecca during the annual hajj pilgrimage?

In 1985 at Heathrow Airport, London, there is a sign EU members to que and another que for others like me.

There is often a good reason for signs.

  7. Australia has one of the most corrupt and opaque political donation ‘system’ in the world. Foreign interests buy off our parties and there is no limit to donation amounts. The treacherous scumbags who have sold our country to the highest bidder will be held to account.

  10. of course the Greens don’t want asylum seekers to participate in politics in NSW – they might interfere in the intercine warfare that is underway in the Greens

  11. When I was last at Heathrow, there was no sign for Adrian Jackson to queue. I saw a sign for EU Passport holders and I saw a sign for non-EU passport holders but there was no sign for people like Adrian Jackson. That is because the British and other people of decent values would regard it as quite offensive to read a sign saying “red neck racist scumbag wankers like Adrian Jackson queue here”

  12. I am not saying Adrian Jackson is a racist – I’m merely saying that is what the sign would read if it were in the same ilk as the signs Adrian Jackson has defended which segregate people by their religious beliefs.

It seems under the new law I will not be able to make a donation to the Liberal Party in NSW. That is quite a relief as it will save me money. I suppose I could just send the letters to the NSW Police for investigation as part of a criminal conspiracy. No that would be silly. They’d come back too quickly. I’ll send them to Fair Work Australia to investigate.

  13. your censorship fatboy.

Australia is one of the most corrupt countries in the world due to the free-for-all with political donations.
The ALP and Libs are bought and paid for and do not act in the interests of the electorate.
    The only way to fix this problem is to restrict corporate and foreign donations like most other countries do;

Of course, this will never happen as Australia was sold off to corporate and UN interests long ago by the vultures and thieves in Canberra.

  14. The truth is that most Australians do not want these illegal immigrants in the country and certainly do not want them to have a vote without citizenship.
No should they seek to influence our politics,no more than any other foreign group.

  16. This law will not exclude many people. You do not need to be an Australian citizen to be a council voting roll. The law is aimed at people that do not live in Australia paying out money to partys or individuals. You should know these laws Andrew. You can actually be a local councillor and not be an Aussie. You cannot be mayor unless you are a true blue.

  19. Why should non-citizens have any involvement at all in any level of government? There are no good reasons.

ALP are just shitty about the effect the bill will have on their captive ethnic voting blocks, corrupt unions and the odd business donation (which I understand is around the same as the Libs).

  25. This ban seems to exclude teenage students and permanent residents from donating to political parties – which under the NSW Act includes paying to attend public campaign functions to hear political speakers and the like. Yet another undemocratic attrocity by the Conservative (Lib/Nat) – Greens reactionary coalition.

  26. I am a UK citizen and have spent 9 months a year in Sydney (Paramatta actually) every year for over 15 years because of family reasons (elderly parents and a disabled brother) back in Kent. I am not an Australian citizen yet because of these circumstances, but I do support (as a donour and professional service provider (graphic designer by training)) the Labor Party. Under this new Coalition-Greens law I cannot donate money or other gifts, attend functions or donate my professional services because I’m not eligible to be on the electoral roll. I think my rights as a taxpayer in Australia have been unfairly trampled on, all for a “special” law designed to give unfair political advantage to the right and far left of NSW politics over the ALP. This is hardly in-keeping with the Australian ‘fair-go’ culture. Something must be done!

  27. Elections in Australia are for real adult Australians – pommies, migrants and kids who should worry about school and getting a job and keeping their noses out of what doesn’t concern them. Barry O’Farrell’s new law is a step in the right direction. But it needs to be made better – lift the voter age to 25 so they’ve got more experience of life and no migrant should be eligible to vote until they can pass a proper English speaking, writing and history test, and been a citizen for at least 10 years. Use Barry’s rules to make sure that only voters can have anything to do with politics. And then make this the law of the land. Set up an independent Board to run it and get a successful person like Gina Rinehart to be its Chairman. That will fix the problem once and for all. And another thing to think about is only those having property could go on the voters roll – that would fix the greenie problem.

  28. O’Farrell’s really brought the facists from the Australian Klu Klux Klan out from under the rocks they’ve been hiding under since One Nation was squashed. The only time I’ve read such right wing pronouncements as that penned by ‘real adult aussie’ was when I read Australian late 19th Century history. Then large land holders sought to import the British pre-1830’s class society and attendant rotten electoral system to Australia. The Australian Labour movement in conjunction with real Liberals killed it then and must kill it now.

  29. To John Bull: Just because you’ve buggered your own country, don’t come out here and try and bugger ours with your radical views. Pommie bastard go home!

  30. Premier O’Farrell has done a good job on his new election law. It will stop a lot of the misleading views by unions, so called action groups, and other leftist organisations from being advertised and perverting the way voters think about issues. It seeks to stop those who have no business in how the country is run from interferring in elections. I don’t agree with everything Real Adult Aussie said, but agree that migrants and young people shouldn’t get political. Also, I agree we’ve got to stop the Greens. As has repeatedly been noted their leadership is quite old, but never-the-less they seem to mislead the young for most of their support. Perhaps there is virtue in raising the voting age and making it illegal for anyone not on the voters roll to be involved with elections and politics. In that way we can have a proper democracy based on sensible and appropriate consideration of important issues by those who know.

  31. The right wing nutters and deviants who seem to be drawn to this site just don’t get it.
The new NSW law on donations is targeted at the Labor fakers and union opportunists who have led the working class astray. O’Farrell’s law was only supported by the Greens and others of the real left because it helps us in our historic battle against the Labor fakers.
In its current form its useful to our campaign to lead workers to real world enlightenment because it helps to restrict the bullshit the ALP can pump out in elections. Its this bullshit which cloud workers consideration of issues and manipulates them into backing the wrong course.
When the workers are freed from the influence of the ALP and their fellow traveller’s propaganda, and thet’ve been sufficiently burnt by the conservatives, they will turn to the Greens and other true workers parties. We’ll get the numbers in Parliament and form a real Green-Workers Government for people’s progress. And that’s why this donation law is good for workers.

  34. Three state’s down and obliteration in the 4th. Workers are waking up to Labor and Gillards next. O’Farrell type laws will help stop the fake Labour Party from rising again. Hopefully the opportunists in Queensland, Vic and WA will go down the same path. After a few years of right wing governments working class consciousness will build and support real workers parties. Then we’ll force real reforms in the Country.

  35. Green communists should be kicked off the voters roll and into prison. Menzies was right, outlaw the bastards. Abbott and O’Farrell and the other State’s have got to prevent deviant labor communists from wrecking this nation and pedalling their lies. Let’s make sure we fix the voting system and block their distortions and radical ideas.

Ha ha, in no time at all state special branches will be watching and ready to grab you up when you oppose or act against our democratically elected governments.

And I’d like to thank the Greens for their help on the new law. You morons might have a plan to do over labor but our plan to do you all over is a better one. So stick that where the sun don’t shine. Oh I forgot, you’d probably enjoy it.

  39. Is Taliban fan making a veiled threat? Or is it just another freakin right wing racist fool reciting lines from the League of Right’s story book that’s been going around in email form in NSW and Qld?

    Of course it’s the latter!

The League and their allies are re-building in the sure knowledge that O’Farrell’s law – that’ll probably be copied in Qld -restricts widespread sensible centrist political debate across NSW including rebuttal of these extremist campaigns.

While these laws will give Barry and the team a real campaign advantage, ultimately the law is not to the benefit of other than the extremes of politics including the re-emerging far right of the Liberal Party. The NSW Liberal Party’s extreme right are re-organising to fully capture the O’Farrell Government for their own alien purposes. Apart from my own experience in recent times I note that The Australian newspaper has even reported on these moves by the right.

This electoral law was simply a first step in to placate the right. Barry, reverse this law … and stop working with the extremist and racist anti-semite/anti-migrant communists that populate the inner city Greens.
