BACKSEAT: Minister ready to defend lawsuit from driver ex-lover

The Tasmanian Government’s Minister for Economic Development has lawyered up in anticipation of a writ from her former driver and lover.

The Hobart Mercury reports that she has hired former Liberal candidate turned Australian Democrats member Greg Barns to represent her in the negotiations between the driver Ben Chaffey’s lawyers and the government’s lawyers.
