I’d be the conference queen if people would just sit down and realise i’m better than everybody else.

I spent the weekend at Conference because Luke told me to, not because I can’t let go. We would’ve won if Young Labor weren’t so corrupt. I mean they let us get away with putting PO Boxes as addresses for people. Any organisation that allows us to get away with that has to be corrupt!

Anyway – back to work. John Graham isn’t asking for a latte this morning – I’m a bit worried he might be defecting to the Right. I better get him what he asks for though – I’ll never be Member for Wentworth if he doesn’t love me to pieces.

What I find interesting is that Parkin and Janai actually think they run a vibrant organisation. The right dropped over 40 votes on Sunday.. Thats right 40. Now when I ran I only dropped one. What has happened to our faction. Perhaps Stephen Dampf should have run for President, at least the email list would always be working. The real story is the decisive victory for Centre Unity – not just in numbers, but in ideas and moral authority.

Centre Unity debated with discipline, focus and intelligence, while the ranting loonies on the Left resorted to personal taunts, intimidation and stereotyping to convey their ugly, extremist ideology.

Their fake indignation was truly pathetic. The Right expose lefty rorting? How dare they!?

It would be quite interesting to note why the conference was held the day it was, perhaps because 1yr memberships ran out the following day and delegates would have to re pay their memberships in order to keep continuity. Also one might be interested to see the returns from the other union delegations specifically the HSU returns which didn’t even have membership numbers or addresses on them. May I also commend headoffice for paying for accomodation of Right Wing Delegates aswell as the majority of their membership forms, suit hire and underage grog for those under 18. I commend the delegates who live in Canberra representing esteemed YLAs such as Blacktown and Central West, the 8 hour long communte from Orange to UNSW everyday must really be a pain in the Arse Jainaie…….

The left behaved appallingly this conference! I have never seen such disrespect for the ALP’s rules and platform. The policies they put forward lacked substance as well as reality and were really just written in an attempt to convince their minions that they are some what “left”. The insanity of YLL can be directly reflected in Kirkby’s actions. I think this matter should be taken further until charges, be they criminal or party, are laid.
