REDISTRIBUTION: AEC starts new boundaries for NSW and Queensland federal seats

The AEC has just announced a long-planned redistribution of NSW and Queensland federal seats that will keep many ALP and Liberal/Nationals awake nights over the course of this year.

Queensland will gain a seat and NSW will lose one, based on a previous decision of the Commission.

They say they expect the process will be complete by late 2009. Perhaps just in time for an election we had to have.
