Madden is actually a damn fine Minister. His fault was in letting Steve Bracks order him to employ Suleyman the convicted thug and then not keeping an eye on him. The local ALP has much to answer and while the Premier and his dog, sorry, his deputy want to sack all Councilors from working for MPs, that will not stop the issue, nor make it go away or resolve the problem. Will Telmo and Georgie be pressured to resign before Christmas this year? If not then we are being forced to retain MPs of very questionable integrity. Will the various Crs named in the Ombudsman’s report plus one newbie who has lied about her election costs and funding be forced to resign? If not then the Brimbank community becomes the key laughing stock of the state. But unless you do these things John Boy, the issue will remain up to election time. Worse for you, if the Greens, DLP and Libs/ Nats refuse to ban Crs then you will look like the bully you are because that is what is going on here. You are bullying good people to cover up the scum of the earth. And from what I hear from several friends, these very Crs including ALP members are dead set against you. And why shouldn’t they be as you ahve made them the scapegoats, you have tarnished their reputations and impugned their integrity and allowed the reported persons to get away scot free. Then we have Hulls and his convicted felon employee. What are you doing about that one John Boy? Oops, not much since you used to employ that bloke’s wife in your own office. Hulls employs your daughter. Aren’t you worried about her working anywhere near such a convicted felon?

And MPs can and often do survive for a long time despite their lack of talent especially if their local branches are stacked.

Dear Calvin. It appears the verdict is in……George Seitz is a low life, corrupt, greedy, useless, crook who has not only embarrassed the ALP to such an extent that is will go a long way in handing the Libs the election, or at least give them a better platform, but more importantly, embarrassed the position he holds as a parliamentarian and in doing do, even further lowered this title in the eyes of the community.
