CONVICTED: Julia Dehm’s conviction for attacking Police officer upheld on appeal, sent out to pick up trash

juliadehmcriminal Violent leftist protester and Victorian Government employed Legal Aid Articled Clerk Julia Dehm has had her desperate bid to quash her criminal conviction defeated.

Dehm is concerned that her convictions for crimes of violence against a female Police officer – who is still unable to work – would adversely effect her legal career.

County Court Judge David Parsons was having none of it saying that her attack on Senior Constable Kim Dixon warranted a conviction being recorded.

Julia Dehm’s vicious assault on the Police officer occurred at riots at a meeting of G-20 Finance Ministers where she was part of a masked and boiler-suit wearing group of radicals who launched a series of violent attacks on Police attempting to keep the meeting venue secure.

The conviction won’t necessarily prevent her from practising law but legal experts have said it might be a problem that could impact on her admission to the profession.

It really wasn’t Dehm’s day with her seven month suspended jail sentence being converted into two hundred and fifty hours of community work, where she’ll be picking up rubbish and engaged in some hands-on environmental work of a non-violent kind.

Colourful Sunburysider Steve Medcraft praised the decision to uphold the Dehm conviction and expressed his progressive views on law enforcement telling the Herald Sun:

“I am sick to death of all this remorse and rehabilitation. Get down to basics if you commit crime you get sentenced.”

The Herald Sun also helpfully provided a list of the offenders and their crimes:

THE OFFENDERS

BETH NATHAN: rammed a barricade at police at the Collins St riot; conviction overturned with 180 hours of unpaid community work.
SOFIA TODOROVA: marshalled other protesters, calling “everyone go forward!” at the brawler van attack; conviction overturned with 180 hours of community work.
ROSALIE DELANEY: involved in a tug of war with police over a barricade in the front of the brawler van and emptied contents of green rubbish bin into the van; conviction overturned with 200 hours’ community work.
DAVID NGUYEN: involved in tug of war over a barricade and threw bottles towards police; conviction and sentence of 250 hours community work stands.
JULIA DEHM: helped throw the barricade that hurt a policewoman, pushed barricades at police during the brawler van attack; conviction (not) overturned and seven month jail term quashed replaced by 250 hours community work.

  2. I’d like to thank the Dehm parents for their generosity on this occasion. Yum.

  3. Even worse she won’t be able to take that holiday in Disneyland – that’s what really worries her. Now ineligible for the visa waiver program and unlikely to get a visa given the nature of her conviction.

  4. She should face the law institute who should seriously question her suitability to become an office of the court and a member of the Law profession. She was fully aware of her actions of lawlessness and violence and as a result a member of the Victorian Police Force has to suffer long term injuries. Why should Dehm expect to be let off lightly? Was she under some satanic influence beyond her control? Is She Australia’s version of Patty Hurst?

Basically hon you blew it big time now do your time.
