From The Age’s report on the G20 rioters:
Her lawyer, Michael O’Connell, said Delaney’s plans to spend a year studying in Paris as part of her degree could be in jeopardy because her sentence made it difficult to obtain a visa.
On this basis Rosalie Delaney’s criminal conviction was reversed.

what a pathetic feeble and problely false, excuse to have the conviction quashed. she does not require a visa to stay in France as a short term visitor. She only needs to leave the country and come back.
