Ted will lose – everyone knows it.

The Liberal Party would be better off refusing to fund a party based election campaign at the State level. Instead it could encourage all of its State members to run as independent liberals giving them some money to run their own campaigns.

It would put the ALP in a fix though in Government they could pick some of the better independent libs to enter the cabinet – like what is done in the USA.

The overall Lib vote might pick up as people will actually support non-party tied independents.

The Liberal Party could focus its funds on the federal scene, where at least it has a chance.

It would be interesting to know the political backgrounds of the leadership team of the Federation of Indian Students. If they spat the dummy because they believe they should have the racial discrimination issue all to themselves, then they should be scrutinised closely.

this is another diversion by Brumby to appease the indian and Chinese community over the bashings. Why doesnt he get his henchman Hulls to get the judges in order that would be a good multicultural start.
