Do any of you know Ann, she has no aspirations to be anything other than where she is at, yep she is a hard core ALP person, but she doesn’t play factional crap, probably to her detriment, but she can’t ever be questioned on her loyalty to the ALP, I really wonder how she puts up with all this rubbish at times, there must be better things in life than trying to assist the ALP and getting shit thrown in your face time after time.

Ogilvie is a figure head, rubber stamp they trot him out for when the need arises for the semblance of leadership. Never seen him in a pic with any one else from council, he’s dead man walking.Maria would not trust Ann , Ann is hard core, hard line ALP, Maria plays childish games and it has affected her image with many old schoolers. She needs to stop employing all her cuzs & relos.

Ann carries Ogilvie. Ann has taken hold of the Jacksons ward and Ogilvie knows his days are numbered. My feelings are that Ann needs to spread her wings and take hold of Calwell. You can’t deny Ann will deliver the goods for the Labor party and anyone who says otherwise is wrong!

It is a sad state of affairs for Calwell when the challenging candidate also resides outside the electorate. Nice enough guy and despite promises does not avoir une connaissance of the local issues and demographics. Face it this is about a factional deal to appease the right and some locals are pissed that a Lib is Mayor.

Surely there must be a local ALP bod that will step up to represent the region.
