DON’T BE A WHALLEY WITH FACTIONS: Addy’s Jeff Whalley loves the left

The Addy’s Jeff Whalley needs to “remove the pole from his arse” according to one Geelong patriot. The journalist penned an oped that refers to Socialist Left ALP members as ‘Labor’ and members of the moderate group as ‘Labor Right’. He then lavished praise on Peter Loney, a notoriously sleazy state MP from the Socialist Left, and Gavan O’Connor, a person who infamously ratted on the party who’d given him everything including a multi-millionaire lifestyle for being a “powerful (blank)”. The word he forgot was probably combination, but “couple of shonks” is probably also an acceptable replacement.
