BRUCEY: Controversial pro-porno Liberal MP still in power and hopes for Vic upper house Presidency
Liberal insiders have expressed surprise at the decision of upper house MP Bruce Atkinson to seek another term.
Atkinson apparently is hopeful of elevation to the Legislative Council presidency. There has been a lot of speculation about the upper house presidency, with the Greens making noises that they’d like to claim the position for themselves and some Liberals also positioning themselves, even if the Labor government is re-elected they are not expected to gain a majority in the upper house.
His views on a range of issues are highly controversial in Liberal circles and more generally, with his passionate advocacy of liberalising porn and what he insisted was merely a "fact-finding" visit to a gay sex club/orgy to observe safe sex practices. He has also been an erotic poet, penning verses like One Night Stand, Making Love and Tabletop Dancer.

How is it possible for anyone to share a platform with people such as Sex Party boss and porn advocate Fiona Patten and not want to throw up?
Despite repeated requests he refuses to state whether he would be happy if his mother, sister or daughter appeared in one of Patten’s films. Why is it so hard to give a straightforward answer to that question?
Obviously, it’s because if he said no then that would make him the ultimate hypocrite. Why would it be okay then if someone else’s mother, sister or daughter appeared in them?
How odd it is that pornography’s biggest advocates such as Atkinson, Patten, Robbie Swan and Catherine Lumby, etc have never been in one themselves. As long as it’s someone they don’t know then it’s okay.
Another familiar with Atkinson’s public record told us:
Recently, there’s been a crackdown on a huge porn production house operating in Melbourne that makes many millions of dollars a year paying young women to take their gear off to provide jerking material for the world’s desperates. They are paid a few hundred dollars for embarrassment that in the digital age will last a lifetime.
It affects their livelihood, their families and kids down the track.
How can any politician align themselves with such an industry of exploitation?
Some believe the Liberals are sitting on a scandal time-bomb with Bruce Atkinson. Is he set to explode or due for promotion to the Presidency. In the show business for ugly people, politics, anything is possible.

Has Brucey been getting advice from Diane Anderson? It was the comments on this blog that convinced Jeff Kennett not to appoint Diane his campaign manager when he was a serious candidate for Lord Mayor of Melbourne. Diane, the editor of the rag publication Higgins News, also a publication sent to Peter Costello, had brothel industry boss as a contributor for that publication. With Albon writing you wouldn’t want your children to see that publication.
Stay away from Diane Brucey or you’ll never be reelected, let alone become president of the Legislative Council.

In fairness to Bruce, everything he did and put on the record in Hansard is legal.
This is in stark contrast to the corruption and criminal behaviour on the record in Hansard outlining the behaviour of Julian Sheezel.
The ALP are the masters of corruption and criminal behaviour, do I need to mention Gordon Nuttall?

I’ve never been a fan of Brucie’s since he falsely (and libelously) accused me of embezzling funds from an eastern suburbs Young Liberal branch. He would have been about 22 at the time. It was downhill from there.
Goose, despite all his weaknesses, is a saint when compared to Rat Dog Riva.

At least Bruce had the courtesy of placing his visits to gay beats in Hansard.
Unlike a certain ALP State member who had his name suppressed by the courts for doing likewise.

If his mother sister or daughter looks like him then I doubt very much if they would make it in a porn movie unless it was a play on a horror movie or some kind of kinky sex take.
