In Tasmania, the Liberal Opposition Leader Will Hodgman has just demoted his Attorney-General and Justice spokesman, Michael Hodgman. Yes, his Dad.

Papa Hodgman has been a bit crook lately but has made it clear he intends to recontest the next election. Hodgman the Elder has been given the shadow Veterans’ Affairs portfolio, a much lower profile gig than he had.

Last month, VEXNEWS exclusively revealed Will Hodgman’s brush with the law behind the wheel when he was busted on a Youtube video talking straight to camera while driving and frequently removing his hands from the steering wheel.
