I would suggest you are a liar. laurie is not in the job for free overseas trips or perks. Laurie is one of the most hard working honest politicians in the country no matter what form of Government you look at. If there is any truth to what you are saying why don’t you put your full name on the blog instead of hiding behind a pseudo name like true believer? I’ll tell you why because your full of crap! The amount of personal time Laurie spends fighting for his constituents or attending events and functions is unbelievable. The bloke spends seven days a week working. It’s no secret that i work for Laurie. If i wanted to hide it i would not use my real name on this blog. Having known Laurie both personally and professionally for a few years now i guess i am well qualified in answering some of the critics on this forum who are intent on bagging him and giving him a bad name. I’ll reiterate what i said earlier, Laurie works very hard for his constituency almost always seven days a week, consisting of early morning till late at night. I can rarely remember the last time Laurie had a full day off to himself. All this often comes at the expense of his own personal commitments, so to read the nonsense written by some on these pages is really disapointing.

I don’t understand why a couple of idiots have an issue with Steve commenting on, when we all know that the Vex is used as a political smear campaign from all staffers of politicians. At least Christou has the balls to put his name to print. As for the so-called waste of tax payer money, I bet he does hours of unpaid overtime. God save us if you are referring to Steve Christou political staffer, you are way off the mark. I have dealt with Steve on several occasions mainly in regards to Centrelink and CSA matters. He has helped resolve issues in two days that Centrelink and CSA would not touch in months. His work mobile was always available even late at night to field my questions and he was always pleasant. Now that’s value for money.
