TALLY: Victorian HSU poll results coming in
Early results have Doug Byron on 691 votes, Diana Asmar 654 votes and Marco Bolano on 784 votes apparently based on early votes received.
Results as at 6.35pm are as follows:
Bolano 3319
Asmar 2378
Byron 2357
Daniel Govan 66
Informal 98
400 below the line votes
Please note the Returning Officer has been ordered by the Federal Court not to declare the count due to alleged irregularities in the conduct of the election, so this might be delayed depending on the court’s deliberations tomorrow.

While the AEC hasn’t declared the result because of alleged irregularities in the ballot, we understand this could be announced tomorrow.

The irregularities referred to are in regard to the eligibility of the Secretarial Candidate in the 1 HSU team and the Asst Sec Candidate in the Byron team.
No longer a relevant point, because both tickets lost, in fact they came equal last.
To dear ‘Will the fake ballot box scam cost Bolano?’; ‘Expensive’; and ‘Rigged’ you are absolute wankers and losers.

A sad day for the HSU yesturday, Balono may have got there by dubious circumstances but the reflection of this out come is that around five thousand members did not want the Balono/Jackson team in office. Lets hope they get caught and the wrong is put right We have to believe that Good things do happen!!!!!!
