HOPE: Germans put on “Obama the Musical”

NW Online reports:

Book that ticket to Germany, Obama the Musical is coming to a stage near you!
‘Hope’ is a musical based Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign and features power ballads by Obama, a rousing rock chorus from John McCain, and a titillating solo from Sarah Palin and her scantily-clad back-up dancers.
The lyrics for the songs are taken from actual political speeches while the story (yes, there’s a story) centres on residents in an apartment-sharing community who become affected and united by Obama’s message of change and hope for a new start. Touching.

  3. Mammy! Mammy!
The sun shines in Carrum Downs. The sun shines west.
But I know where the sun shines best.
    Mammy! Mammy!
My heart strings are tangled around, Alabamy.
    I’m, I’m a comin’! Sorry I made you wait.
I’m, I’m comin’! I hope and pray I’m not late.
    Mammy! Mammy!
I’d walk a million miles for one more stack!
    My Mammy!

  4. So,
Its clear that Obama’s election has brought out Skeeter and the rest of the back woods racists (only in ref to the “Mammy” comments) Freedom of speech apparently didn’t provide for intelligent speech. The musical is about the people, not just an Obama worship service. I know you’re so disappointed to learn that. 2008 was an amazing world event. Do you even have a world view? Constructive and factual discourse could help America but this is just childish. You promote fear and hate with such brilliant stupidity.

Here’s a link to a summary of the issues our President is engaging:

    http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/

But in case you don’t want to take a minute to review the facts….here’s the quick list:

    Promise Kept 91
    Compromise 33
    Promise Broken 14
    Stalled 87
    In the works 275
    Not yet rated 2

14 promises not kept out of 420. Hummm…
