STAR STRUCK: Left-wing newspaper slammed for unprofessionalism by greatest ever footballer

hirdtheage Former AFL star James Hird has slammed The Age newspaper following its false and misleading story claiming he was making a comeback.

The easily contacted sports marketing executive revealed that he was not contacted at all for confirmation or comment by The Age before it ran the story on its front page today.

  1. Erm… greatest ever? Even counting only Essendon players; Dick Reynolds and John Coleman weren’t shabby.

  2. It is`disgraceful that the Age`tries to cash in on false inaccurate biglines.They should be thoroughly investigated by the Press Council and find appropriate to prevent suck reckless and unprofessional journalism. If the Age was properly regulated they would lose their licence to publish
