Peter Roebuck friend: “I did have concerns about leaving him with a house full of vulnerable young boys”

It keeps getting worse for those who’ve blindly defended disgraced dead Fairfax/ABC cricket commentator Peter Roebuck, ignoring his criminal history of physical and sexual abuse, and the terrible situation where he was paying nearly twenty young men to live in his “blue house.” Even a loyal friend tells The Australian “I did have concerns about leaving him with a house full of vulnerable young boys”….

  1. What is this ‘history of physical and sexual abuse’.
I had thought he was just into caning, a simple enough sexual fetish, but not embarassing enough to kill himself.
    What ‘history’ is known?

  2. Marvellous how many of Roebuck’s friends knew he was a pervert and a predator but did absolutely nothing to protect these boys.
Smacks like a bit of a daisy chain to me.
Maybe they are trying to look straight?

  3. Where does everyone get the word ‘boys’ from ? These were all grown adult men, all over 18, all going to University. These men made a choice, they may have all been homosexual, but as educated ADULTS they decided to make some money the easy way, living with an older man. How many others , men and women have done the same thing for money?
As far as we know the most these men were doing is selling there talent for being able to take a good caning, which peter liked, and Zimbabwe had taught these lads to do from the age of five. Thats abuse, hitting kids, but as far as I know peter liked adults only?

  4. These were not ‘boys’, they were University adult men, intelligent and all over 18. The one who complained was 26 !!!!!!!!
