Tasmanians have had a gutful of the Greensparty #politas #auspol

Increasingly, the Greensparty is seen as being callously opposed to jobs, in Tasmania, huge rallies are being held to express concerns about their policies ruining the state.

  1. The groundswell of grassroots support for mining and jobs in Tasmania may augur badly indeed for the Federal ALP come 14 September. It seems at least two, possibly three, maybe even their four seats are in play. Tasmania swung heavily towards the Liberals in 1975 and it may do so again. The ALP/Greens alliance in Canberra is seen by many Taswegians as a similar deal to the governing coalition in Tasmania between the ALP and the Greens.

The Greens in Tasmania are supposed to be the sensible end of the spectrum of Greensparty politics in Australia – yet their vociferous allegedly pro-environment stance is not nuanced by the political necessity of compromise and co-operation in the delivery of democratic governance.
