NSW Labor Left sorry they preselected Ian Macdonald 6 times – #nswpol

The NSW Labor Left has today apologised for preselecting former state minister Ian Macdonald for elections in 1988, 1991, 1995, 1999, 2003 and 2007 to avoid fall-out from bad publicity arising from his now somewhat notorious twenty-two years of public service. The history with ICAC and similar agencies is that it’s wise to reserve judgment until the end of the process and some proper judicial authority is applied to the claimed facts. In the NSW Left’s case, they appear to have expedited that process.

  1. Is’nd it at bit late for that? Them and the shortcons have destroyed the Labor Party and the only Members left are the stacks. Most Branches and I mean large Branches have trouble getting a forum for Branchmeetings. The Niddrie by-election preselection showed what a farce it was when the winner had the least amount votes at the local Members vote. Brimbank Council sacking was a stab in the Back for local Members and than the factioncrooks wonder why the local Party Members give them the Finger.
