Bernardi warns UKIP’s success shows how Libs could be outflanked #auspol

SA Liberal powerbroker Cory Bernardi has joined the fight over what kind of Coalition government there’ll be, if elected in September. He’s argued that the success of the UK Independence party shows that a conservative government that isn’t truly conservative leaves itself wide open to attack from the Right.

With Bob Katter doing well in country seats and Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party just warming up, even buying TV ads in Melbourne at this early stage, he makes an interesting point.

In context of Alex Hawke’s contribution about the Leader’s lavish paid parental leave scheme that will give high-income-earning parents as much as $3000 per week of taxpayers’ money to change nappies, there is going to be an interesting arm-wrestle between electoral pragmatists and those championing limited government in the next government.

In other important Bernardi news, he now has a six-pack.

  1. Cory Barnyardy should be deported back to the European shithole he immigrated from.

I first used the screen name Cory Barnyardy, after his outrageous comments trying to link gays to bestiality, on Vexnews as a joke but others have used it since.

  2. Me and Bar Bar Barnaby love to make love to our farm yard friends. Every time I hear a moo, a bar or a neigh I crack a fat.

  3. Adrian, I agree Cory should be sent back to the sh1th@le that he was born in. A place infested with Lederhosen clad freaks and closeted perverts who engage in sick depraved activities such as the pie floater…… Adelaide.

He was born in Australia you knob. Get your facts right

  7. The fool Adrian Jackson doesn’t know his Cormann from his Bernardi.

He might also like to actually read what he said in the gay marriage debate rather than rely on the poisonous reports of Malcolm Turnbull et al. Bernardi didn’t homo’s to anything…merely made the point that opening up marriage will lead to all sorts of claims for validity. Bernardi was and remains right.

  9. The Adrian Jackson at 11 May 13, 23.11 is an impostor.

Hard core – Whatever; Cormann and Bernardi are much the same in their backward views on most things. Their views are not the views we want in Australia.

All marriage is; is a that signing of a contract after a ceremony. The contract cover the interests if both parties concerning money, property and inheritance.

  12. Mr T – what “military ” did you serve in boy?

You sound like a Yank as you say “damn military” and we know what a disaster the US military (carrying out hopeless US government policies) have been since the end of WW2.
